I’m a psychotherapist, coach and woman (just like you!) who has gone through times where my hyper-independence has left me anxious, burnt out, alone and unfulfilled in life and love. Through my own healing journey (and hitting rock bottom 🫠), I now wake up feeling rested, calm, and present. I spent years chasing this feeling through work, money and men but got what I wanted from the inside-out.
Hi, I’m Cynthia.
My Story
I grew up as a first generation, only child who was happy but slightly alone. I was raised lower-middle class by two parents who immigrated from Poland. After my parents lost all their money in the 2008 recession, I felt this internal pressure to be successful, make money and be the one who holds it together.
I had so many beautiful seasons within my life but the dark phases were filled with high functioning depression, anxiety, burn out and negative coping strategies such as trying to be the best, drinking too much, binge eating and dating the wrong guys.
Becoming a therapist helped me learn more about myself, my family of origin and dysfunctional patterns.
I started healing my patterns, going to therapy, taking antidepressants and using modalities such as EMDR and brainspotting. I started making new choices to create a life that now makes me feel good day to day as a woman.
I want all women to feel fully nourished, taken care of and well-rested (whether single or married!). I think women should have the man, the money and the magic!
Jungian and Psychodynamic Therapy
I use a depth-oriented psychodynamic and Jungian approach that explores unconscious patterns, emotional themes, relational dynamics, and symbolic meaning to help clients understand themselves at a deeper level and create lasting change.
My Credentials
TF-CBT Certified Therapist
I utilize trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy when clinically recommended to shift post-trauma cognitions, beliefs, thoughts and feelings.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
I passed my clinical exam and have had my LCSW since 2020. With full licensure I have practiced as a mental health therapist in hospital and group practice settings as well as had the opportunity to be a Program Coordinator and Clinical Supervisor.
Certified EMDR Therapist
I got trained in EMDR from 2020-2021 and have been officially certified since 2023. I follow the standard protocol and make modifications when clinically relevant. I take advanced training yearly to increase my skillset.
Violence Against Women & Children Certificate
My school, internship and workplace experience has been specialized in working with women and children. I completed the Violence Against Women & Children certificate program alongside my master’s degree.
Brainspotting Practitioner
Craving a slightly more intuitive approach to treatment, I have decided to expand my toolbox by adding Brainspotting in 2025. I am currently working toward becoming a Brainspotting Practitioner.
Attachment & Parts Work Training
I’ve taken numerous advanced trainings in attachment theory, complex trauma and ego state therapies to best support clients suffering from attachment wounds.
Somatic Stress Release
Weaving somatic interventions into each treatment modality, clients work on completing incomplete somatic stress responses lodged in their body to facilitate resolution.
I use a compassionate solution-focused approach mixed with fun and empowerment to help you heal your patterns and manage your stressors. I believe the key to being calm and confident is becoming who you are really meant to be without judgement or pressure. Working together includes uncovering unconscious patterns and healing them from the root with evidence based modalities such as EMDR or brainspotting. Not only that but having a great working relationship with your therapist is a plus!
